I have never bought anything electronic thru the mail, but from this seller I would. I was not only surprised by how quickly it arrived, but also by how it was shipped. It worked perfectly once it arrived
Haven't used the features like picture viewer option so cant comment on it but its the first thing you would look for in GPS anyway.Overall a good one for the basic GPS Adjusts time zones and even day light savings automatically.Only CONS that i had seen.Had a few instances where real the street names didnt match with the ones in the GPS. Very easy to use. Point of interests like some less known restaurants in not so famous neighborhoods were not very accurate.possibly they might have closed after the SW on the GPS was released.At times (like in downtown area)it took just a little more time than usual to acquire the satellite signal but otherwise it was all good. I have used it for a recent road trip to Miami and Key West and it was perfect. Its very fast in recalculating the routes when you go off route. So definitely the SW needs to be updated.
The most frustrating thing about this Garmin has been the time it normally takes to link with satellites. Also, in a couple instances, the Garmin has taken me to an entirely different place than it said it took me.
This Garmin does not do that. This Garmin also will often indicate that a certain business is in a place where such a business has never been.
Although that might be the result of user error, I do not understand how the Garmin can say I am in a location that I am not. Please note that if you're looking for a GPS that can alert you to traffic jams and help you find ways to avoid them, you have to find a different one.
This GPS has generally worked great. In some instances, it has taken around 10 minutes.
That being said, I can't live without it.
For me GPS is spelled "G-A-R-M-I-N". Overall a great value for the $$$$.By the way I have a Garmin model 45 hand-held GPS on my boat. It took us (driver and navigator) a few hours of "messing around" to figure out the operation of this GPS. The menu system is logical and intuitive and it seems like we just kept discovering more and more features. It still works like a champ after nearly 15 years of hard use and abuse.
I bought this Garmin based on reviews from several sites.I took it on a trip to tennesee and it performed as expected.Its a great value and i would not hesitate to buy another one.
